You need to care for gemstone jewellery just like you would any other valuables; protect your jewellery from contact with perfumes, cosmetics, hairspray, chlorinated or salt water and household cleaning products. To avoid scratching, your jewellery is best stored in the gift box provided or in separate compartments of your jewellery box, never store your items together.
All silver, once exposed to the atmosphere and contact with skin, is prone to oxidation and subsequent tarnishing. When this occurs we recommend gentle rubbing with a lint free polishing cloth which should restore the original shine. For heavier discolouration a specialist polishing cloth is required.
